Processing and Flowing are two sides of the same coin: to learn to flow and adjust with the world, you process your trauma, inner battles, and relationships.

Therapy at Process Flow Counseling is not overly emotional but aims to help you laugh your way through vulnerability. Like a process flow diagram in the engineering world, together we work to understand how things flow in your world. Often times, making small adjustments can lead to big positive change.

“A process cannot be understood by stopping it. Understanding must move with the flow of the process, must join it and flow with it.”

Supporting Relationships and Family Issues

I see couples to support relationship issues like infidelity, dissatisfaction with physical relationship, communication problems/conflict management, life transitions for one or both partners, or ambiguity about whether to stay together or end their relationship.

I also see folks individually who are facing any number of challenges: feeling unsatisfied with relationships, career challenges, feeling generally adrift or lost in life, grieving a loss, or simply wanting to understand themselves on a deeper level and develop their sense of identity.

Meet Tara, Your Counselor & Therapist

Hi! I’m Tara. That’s ‘TAR-uh’, not ‘terra’.

How can you tell from reading this whether you’ll like me as your therapist? I believe the best way to “try on” a therapist is to have a session or two and see how it feels. Reading a website is a good start!

I take a warm, positive stance and honor my clients - after all, it takes courage to do something outside your comfort zone in an effort to make things better.
